Real Estate Appraisers and Appraisals In
Los Angeles County, City of Toluca Lake
Toluca Lake is a
district situated in the southeastern San Fernando Valley between the city of
Burbank, and the unincorporated county area of Universal City. An upscale
community marked by tranquil neighborhoods, it is 12 miles north of downtown
Los Angeles and favored by Hollywood professionals looking to get "out of
the city," while still residing within the L.A. City limits. It is located
between two major studios, Universal Studios to the south and Warner Bros. to
the east. The Santa Monica Mountains surround the quiet, picturesque streets
and provide plenty of recreational, appraisal, and photographic opportunities.
The six-acre Toluca Lake offers fishing, swimming and boating as well as an
excellent view noticed by appraisers valuing homes. The private Lakeside Golf
Club wraps around Toluca Lake. This lake is completely surrounded by private
homes and has been seen by very few people other than those who live there or
have visited one of the homes. The curving, tree-lined streets and diverse
palate of homes is a favorite for television and movie scouts, and film crews
are very frequent. It was home to the first IHOP (International House of
Pancakes) Restaurant in 1958. Toluca Lake is also the name of the body of water
in which the fictional town of Silent Hill surrounds. |
